Change your plan

Switch Pro from monthly to annual, upgrade a subscription to Lifetime and buy more licences. The licence key stays the same.

You upgrade yourself in the Containly shop, signed in with your Containly account. The licence key stays the same: there is nothing to change in Containly, the new plan shows up at the next licence check (about once a day, or right away with Check now under Settings, Version and licence).

From monthly to annual

  1. Sign in to the shop and open Account, Licences, or go to the plans: your plan is marked "Your plan".
  2. Click Switch to annual on the licence.
  3. The confirmation page shows the amount due now and the date of the next payment. Paddle credits the unused part of your current month.
  4. Upgrade now charges your saved payment method and the subscription is annual from now on.

If your subscription is still in the free trial, switching ends the trial: the annual price is charged right away. If the payment is declined, nothing changes. Check the payment method in the Paddle customer portal then.

A cancelled subscription that still runs until the end of the paid period cannot be switched to annual.

Upgrade to Lifetime

  1. Click Upgrade to Lifetime on the licence. The checkout shows "Upgrade of your licence" with the licence number.
  2. You pay the full Lifetime price.
  3. After that your licence is Lifetime, with the same key. Your subscription ends at the end of the paid period and does not renew. There is no refund for the running period. If the subscription was still in the free trial, it ends right away; nothing was charged for it.
  4. You get an e-mail "Upgrade to Lifetime" as confirmation.

Switching down

From annual to monthly, or from Lifetime to a subscription, is not possible directly. Cancel the subscription from your licence page in your Containly account, or use the Paddle customer portal as a fallback, then buy the plan you want.

Buy another licence

Each licence is for one Containly installation with unlimited Docker hosts. For another installation you buy another licence: the plans show Buy another licence for this, also when you have Lifetime already. With several licences you pick the upgrade per licence under Account, Licences.
